We took a trip to the Guinness Storehouse in the afternoon of St. Patrick’s Day.  After reading and learning about the beer, we had a sample in the tasting room.  Then more tastes along the way, accompanying the festivities in session for the special day.  Finally, a trip to the upper level’s Gravity Bar led to my free pint of Guinness.  The view was fantastic, and so was the beer.

Here I am at Pepperpot Tower at the Gardens of Powerscourt.  After driving around the Wicklow Mountains on one-lane gravel roads for hours in the wrong direction, we finally found our way to the Gardens.  Despite the lack of flowers in bloom, the grounds were beautiful!
