I’ve had this weather gadget on my Windows Sidebar for quite some time now, but when I returned home today I noticed something didn’t look normal.

What is this big yellow circle-looking thing?

This morning Microsoft announced the public release of some protocol documentation on MSDN… kind of neat to see something that I worked on posted on MSDN.  Okay, it really isn’t that exciting, but at least it will hold me over until we ship the next version of Office.  If you have nothing better to do, check out section 2.4.1 of the MS-IPFF document – I worked on bits and pieces of that.

We watched “Darby O’Gill and the Little People” tonight in order to prepare for St. Patrick’s day.  The banshee wasn’t as scary as I remember it being many years ago…

In other news, I found out today that Girl Scout cookies are only $3.50 a box down here in California, but I paid $4.00 a box up in Washington!  What happened to that extra fifty cents a box?  What kind of scam are they running up there?  Hopefully it actuall went to the Girl Scouts…  Pretty shady if you ask me.

Facebook.  It’s out of control.  I check it once every now and then just to clear out all the clutter that’s in there.  Here are all the invitations I accumulated over the past week (and subsequently ignored):
